Here's some of the finds from some hunts I've had over the last month. There's a 1907D Barber dime, 1917D Buffalo, what looks like a 1916S Buffalo, V-Nickels of 1899, 1900, and 1907, a few IHs, a Firestone Budget Plan token, a 10c token from the Snow King Baking Powder Co, a 2 1/2c token from the Dew Drop Inn, a $1 token for a battery or casing, a Cascarets flipping coin, some weird token with A Krewe of Munchkins on it, a 5c token from Edgar Vaughn in Loreauville, La., a wheat cent that was altered to the size of a dime, 2 Sterling spoon bowls (one not shown), a 1938 Dodge crank hole cover, a tiny brass violin pin with the strings still attached, a 1921 dog license tag, a campaign thimble with Stegall for Sheriff, a nice 3-ring bullet, a 45-70 cartridge crimped with teeth marks, an RFD (Rural Free Delivery) Mail brass padlock, and a heavy brass horned toad. Also had a Plymouth hubcap and an old style hatchet head that were too big for the pics. Lots of great conversations with landowners and neighbors, too. One lady said she found a $100 bill where I was detecting. She don't need no stinking metal detector!

A fantastic variety of finds. Looks like parts of a printing plate, if so start a printing.

When I started finding those pieces of printers' blocks, I was hoping to find enough to put the whole thing together. Turned out to be what looks like 4 different blocks.

Congrats on the great bunch of finds !

Just my opinion, but something to consider ...

Whenever you dig an unfired round of ammunition it's a good idea to dispose of it in a safe place or pull the lead off with pliers and dump the powder out.
Over the years I've recovered countless unfired rounds while diving on sunken shipwrecks and also with my metal detectors.
The older rounds had Cordite in them and the newer rounds used Gunpowder.
I've had several rounds that I've found, that were just sitting on my workbench - go off by themselves due to expanding gases in the shell casings.
When they went off there was just a loud pop but one of the bullets went through the sheet rock wall in my garage - so be careful !

Holy smokes! Your hunting grounds are loaded with a staggering amounts of neat finds!
