It rang up as a solid 35 on the nox and I thought I might have found an old copper coin. Instead it looks like I found the brass from an old round. Any ID' ers?

It sure did help! Thanks a bunch, that looks like it and it did have writing on it but the soil is pretty tough there and it was hard to make out. I appreciate your research and info, have a great week!

Don't really now the caliber but I'd be willing to bet Smith+Wesson will soon be building a pistol to fit it .
