Finds from last few hunts before 1/1/19

Happy New Year! It's been the wettest winter I can ever remember. This is supposed to be the driest season next to summer. Mucky digging. If it was easy, everyone would do it. Anyway, the first picture features a great bottle that I saw barely poking through some mud at a construction site. I don't know how it escaped being crushed by heavy equipment. The antler-handled knife was also sticking straight down into the mud.The water valve is really cool. In fact, the round finial on the knob says "COOLER". The second pic has a 1977 Hot Wheels dragster, tool tag, bottle stopper, clock frame, and extremely rusty pocket knife. Next pic straight down has 1897 V nickel, a Krewe of Munchkins token, and what looks like a shot gun shell that exploded. Next pic to the left has a 1916 Chinese silver medallion commemorating Yaun Shik-Kai, a 1967 coin commemorating the centennial of the Alaska Purchase, a Lord's Prayer token, a badge from a Johns & Laughlin steel barrel (1861-), 1894 V nickel, 50cal. bullet, brass bell, and a wheat cent that has been ground down to the thin size of a pre-merc dime. Next pic down has a fairly old Sterling ring, organ reed, an FDR token, and silver war-time nickel. Last pic has a 10K gold ring with unknown large green gem and accompanying diamond-like stones (not appraised), a bitten rifle shell, 1894 IH, and a Buffalo Nickel 1913 ash tray? I hope all your adventures have been as fun as mine.

The Buffalo nickel dish is a soap dish from Avon. There was a round bar of soap that looked like a giant buffalo nickel. Nice finds!

Your welcome. I think they sold them in the late 70' or so. I got one for a gift as a teen as I was into collecting coins. It was marketed as a collectible celebrating the first buffalo nickel. You can find them with a Google search. Don't know what ever happened to mine lol.
