I found a first year Indian yesterday!

A 2000 Sacagawea dollar coin.

It wasn't old or silver, but I was still excited. Modern dollar coins didn't seem to catch on in the US, so finding this might be about as rare as finding a silver coin.

I tumbled it with some other clad. I tried using Water + Lime Away + Salt and I think it worked pretty good. Total tumbling time was 90 minutes.

CS,

I finished tumbling clad a week or so ago. One $1 coin and strangely 4 .50 pieces. I also add some aquarium gravel and either rice or quinoa to the mix.

Still waiting on a real silver dollar.

Doesn’t matter if it isn’t old or silver, it’s still a very nice find! Congrats!!!

Coin-star, I'd rather dig a clad $1 coin than 100 crusty memorials. That's much easier on the back and knees! Best of luck and...

Happy Hunting!
