    My second unknown. I dug this in Middle TN a while back. It is brass and measures just under 1 inch in diameter (actually 15/16 inch). It is heavy for its size (0.8 oz), and appears to have a solid brass core inside a shell of thin brass (middle photo). It looks sort of like part of a sword...

    Buckle identification

    I dug this buckle in Nashville. It is brass and measures 3.0 inches by 1 7/8 inches. On the back (middle photo) it has two broken attachment stubs on one end and an intact hook on the other end. Something was apparently attached in the central area, as evidenced by the two holes there. "PAT...
