    The darn battery doesn't have a polarity mark for installing the battery in the detector. If flipping it doesn't work. Maybe send it in to Garret for repairs. It's supposed to be waterproof. Contact them. https://garrett.com/contact

    For what it cost. It should have come with the M8 coil.
