Insert would be moved off the hook and be on the bottom, cans would be floated out of the container, glass bottles might stay in for a while but as soon as a wave rolls you over, the bottles will be spilled out anyway.     Sweep speed is also important. A slow sweep in discriminate mode, listening to all tones, can help get a low to high tone bounce where a quicker sweep just gets the high tone.

    I haven't had a CZ7. The CZ6a, and CZ20 and CZ5 all are as therover describes. Seems the detector is detecting the targets well, it is just that with lower volume settings you are not hearing them.
