    Dave Johnson has passed away

    I remember him being on this forum some years ago and whenever someone had a question he always was glad to help out with the answer. Also, whenever someone had a different opinion on a subject if he chimed in nobody challenge him on his thoughts. This guy was the final answer.

    Target ID numbers

    When you get beyond 6" deep those ID # get inaccurate. If the target stays coin size through the pinpointing rountine that's your best indicator on whether to dig or not to dig.

    Finds up to 1-4-25

    I love that 1926D quarter, really good shape. We got 6" of snow and ice here in WV and it looks like it's going to be here for awhile, no warm temps to melt it for at least 2 weeks.

    Medallion.

    This thing is the size of a silver dollar, it's a VA National Guard service award. I'm thinking it's pretty old because I found it in WV which was VA before 1863. What's your thoughts on this thing?
