Second spring trip Deus is unleashed

Well done! I'm headed there soon and a Celtic/pre-Roman coin is on my bucket list.

Anybody used the Predator Hornet shovel?

Well, I pulled the trigger on the Hornet, and it arrived today. Having now held it, I'm feeling good about the weight (4.75 pounds). Not the lightest shovel I could've purchased, but it wasn't that long ago that many detectors weighed that much. The size and shape of everything, especially...

Anybody used the Predator Hornet shovel?

So I take it that no one has tried Predator's Hornet, then?

Anybody used the Predator Hornet shovel?

Thanks, I have one similar to this for travel/hiking into spots. I'm on the tall side, so I'm looking for something longer that won't force me to hunch over. That's why the Hornet's 40" length appeals to me.

Anybody used the Predator Hornet shovel?

I'm looking for something for digging in forests and fields. Hopefully no one will claim I'm putting children in danger in those places.

Anybody used the Predator Hornet shovel?

I've heard great things about Predator in general but can't seem to find much on the Hornet (model 45). Has anyone used one? What was your experience like? While it seems heavier than other Predator options, it also seems like exact combination of features I'm looking for (long shaft...

Talking Garrett GTI 2500 w/3 coils

For sale is this very clean GTI 2500 with three coils: Two imaging coils (a stock 9.5" and a 12.5") and a non-imaging sniper (4.5") coil. How have you used the multiprocessing/stereo options so far?

While I'm intrigued by the multiprocessing options and stereo headphones that XP have released, I've found their explanation of when and how these might be useful in the field to be lacking. Therefore, I want to hear from people who have a pair of stereo headphones and have played around some...

Can a PI be deeper than a Deus 2

Sure, if it's a pretty clean site trash-wise and you suspect that there are deeper signals, it could be worth getting a PI. Which Deus 2 program(s) have you used at this site?

Can a PI be deeper than a Deus 2

This is a great suggestion. A T2 in all metal mode is a nice compliment to the D2, especially for those deeper targets. And importantly you should be able find one for a few hundred bucks (or pounds, since OP seems to be in the UK). Another idea: I haven't been able to test out the non-motion...

Can a PI be deeper than a Deus 2

What do you mean by "marginal"? PIs can definitely be deeper than the D2 in certain mineralized ground (especially red clay). You lose a lot of discrimination capabilities, though, so if the area is too trashy, you'll have to dig a lot of stuff.

Why Are All Multiprocessing Options The Same Across Programs?

I hope it's not a bug -- it would be a huge one, if so.

Why Are All Multiprocessing Options The Same Across Programs?

I got a pair of the new stereo headphones this week. While I haven't gotten out with them yet, I noticed something weird. In the expert menu for each multiprocessing option, the settings on channel 1 don't reflect the specific program you're in. For example, my favorite program is Sensitive...
