Where's the Ace Apex??? :D:D:D. Maybe the Garrett group jumped the gun with their early introduction. I hope they can make good soon or they may to see their consumers losing interest in the new machine. Thanks for passing on the information gained through using the prototype. It sure...

Visited the red dirt of Virginia with the Infinium

With just about 2 hours experience with the Infinium, I headed to a hunt in Virginia last Thursday to try my luck. I must admit that I was quite nervous. On day one, I managed to find five fired 58 cal miniballs and a brass drawer pull. Day two was tough. I covered a lot of ground, dug two...

Why the f75 remains in the closet.

The snow finally disappeared yesterday afternoon after a day of mild temps. Then at 4 am things changed for the worse. Everything you see was what arrived between 4 am and 8 am. More to come and more warm temps so maybe it will disappear quicker this time.

Garmin GPSmap 60Cx - 1 gig micro SD card?

I recently replaced the standard 64mb SD card with a 1 gig card. Since my travel is mainly through eastern Canada and the U.S. it was a pain to constantly have to delete and replace maps using MapSource City Select North AMerica. After replacing the card, I proceded to download everything from...
