How much junk are you willing to dig to find gold ????

Ive have found 3 gold coins in my career so far, 2 in England and one here. All 3 were large coiins, guinea, sovereign and $10. 2 came in with high tones and I dont recall the last one. The reason I remember the 2 high tones were because they were deep and I just kept digging know they...

How much junk are you willing to dig to find gold ????

Like I said, I just wanted to see what all the other non-coin targets were. Since there were 2 tiki bars in the sand, I knew there were going to tons of bottle caps, screw caps and pull tabs. Just thought I might luck out with apiece of gold. We all have to pick what works best as we get older.

Summer beach season finally over and a popular, outdoor dining location finally closed. Was a large fenced in area on the beach. They left the fence open after putting away all the tables and luckily I was the first to get in. I decided just to just dig all the high tones for coins since...

    Good morning everyone. Advice needed.

I have found the weirder, the better. I remember back in my newbie years hunting parking meters. I had a Troy x2 and get this really weird bouncing signal. I flipped the dirt plug and could see links of a gold bracelet. Turned out it had 14 sections with 8 round diamonds in each . After...

    Purchased a F75

I put the NEL sharp shooter on and have never taken it off. Pinpoints on a dime. Love it for cherry picking parks. For deeper I go with with my Deus. Its super fast and picks out the goodies among the iron trash. Good luck, HH Donna(NJ)

    Goldie Nox

Yeah, those jump rings are usually the weakest link. Ive used stainless steel fishing jump rings on silver jewelry. But, again, careful with that lobster claw.

Token brought me "good luck" and BIG silver!

Love them Walkers, beautiful coin. Use some CLR on it to remove rust Buy in $1 store. I dont think 1947 is a rare date, so clean her up and let her shine brightly. Too nice a coin to leave black and cruddy. You can rub with wet baking soda to remove black. HH Donna(NJ)
