    What are friends for

    Great hunt, great finds and even greater memories. The times we spend with those whose company we truly enjoy are the most special times of all. Nicely done. HH Randy

    Just dug my oldest American coin

    Awesome recovery Jeff. Hard to imagine the history behind that coin and how it ended up in your locale, considering it may be 100 years prior to your Statehood. Congrats on a remarkable find. HH Randy

    30 30 hunt {30 degrees and 30 mph wind}

    No, not that I remember. It reminds me of a Stella Flowing hair $4 gold coin image. Not just the hair, but the shape of her nose.

    Bonehead mistakes...........

    I won't embarrass myself with the full story. But here are pictures of one of the nicest Standing Liberty 1917 Type Two quarters I've ever dug. Best I can figure out, it is buried somewhere out in the landfill now.

    Presidential button

    Another nice recovery Jeff. Congrats. TID of 10 would have surprised me. I'm guessing that is about the size of a quarter?

    Is the CTX still a viable detector?

    The ability to simultaneously see multiple targets under the coil makes it an excellent detector. (y)

    Desmond Dunne has passed away I've just learned. Great guy and always fun to converse with...

    Wow. That took me by surprise. We had just traded emails not long ago. Des and I worked together on many of the MInelab projects. He was one of the few guys at Minelab who not only understood how to build a detector, but also how to use one. He was also one of the first to use videos to...

    Found a small tribe...

    Love the IH cents. Those settings are now officially the REVIER settings. If Andy can tweak Minelab's settings and call them his, I see no reason you can't tweak his and call them yours. :thumbup:

    The Eagle run continues

    Congrats on extending your run on Eagle buttons. Those are not easy to find in our neck of the woods. Knowing where you live and hunt gives me a huge amount of respect for the time and effort you put into researching and detecting. Nicely done.

    Official Words from Minelab regarding EQUINOX battery

    11/17/2017 I'm not an official from Minelab. But I've been asked to share these"official words" with forum members: “The Li-ion battery in the EQUINOX detectors is easily replaceable. Minelab has not yet released official information as to whether or not a user can change the battery over...
