    Got My Small Coil Yesterday

I had about an hour to waste this morning so I thought that I would go to one of my trashy spots to give the 6" coil a round. I can already tell that this thing is going to be a keeper. I found lots of targets that I passed up with the stock coil. Nothing of any importance but a lot of non...

    Sunray Invader FX-1 Probe

What would be a fair asking price for a used probe? I have noticed that some of these are harder to find these days. The reason that I am asking is I have a spare and will be listing it in the classified section. I just want to give whoever may want it a fair price or trade value.

Can someone explain the Fe and Fe2 settings for me.

Or the difference between them. When I was researching the Equinox, this setting was one that caught my attention. I would love to have a better understanding of these settings before my next trip.

Equinox 800 first and second hunts.......starting to figure it out.

Y'all know the story.......Old, trashy places that you have hunted for years and hit to death with other good machines. Got a little frustrated on my first hunt with the new 800 after digging what seemed like 100 square nails, pull tabs, thin rusty sheet bits, etc. in one of my junk infested...

    New 800 coming this week!!

Longtime member here just getting back into it. I had been swinging an F75 for a few years before I took an 8 year break from detecting. My favorite targets are civil war relics and old home places so I hunt in lots of iron and nails. Just now getting back in to it and have found that my ears...

Been a long time since I have been able to get back to detecting. The first day about killed me. Found a few 3ringers and a nice spur from an old picket post that I used to hunt. F75Ltd is still good as ever!! I will try and get some pictures up before long. Looking forward to sharing and...

How is Fisher Customer Service on Warranties?

Well, it has been quite a while since I have been able to detect but got to go out today. Sure enjoyed it!! Found 5 solid base 3 ringers (two chewed and 3 drops), a round ball, 1958 Quarter, 1941 Merc, and a 1916 wheat penny! Anyway, about halfway through my hunt I noticed my coil falsing...

Tried the new LTD out today

Took it to an old "hunted out" camp today expecting miracles. Well, I guess it is hunted out because I didnt find squat. I used the small coil with a sensitivity from 40 to 75 with no luck. Tried the bigger coil also. It seemed to false alot more than my regular F75, I guess I gotta just get...

    F75ltd and G2 users help.....

I am trying to decide if the boost mode in the LTD or the G2 is right for me. For those of you who have used both, please chime in. I already have the regular F75 and it does really well in the camps that I hunt but the grass and weeds are gettin a little thick. Really just wondering how the...

Had a good day relic hunting

Found some bullets (drops and shot and one made into a poker chip), powder flask, tent rope adjuster, arrowhead and piece of pottery, pewter button and other misc. items. The big round plate with a hole in the middle is a Baker Groves Co. (Boston, Mass) sewing machine tag. They were in...

    Campsite Finds--Bullets and Wedding Band

Went back to a site that we have been finding both Confederate and Union relics. We hunted for about 4 hours this afternoon and while the digging was tough we did manage to save a few items. The 3 ringer and one of the balls were chewed while the others were drops. Also found a little...

Need help to ID this button

Found this button in a place that we have found some bullets and Eagle buttons. The middle part floats and I can only make out "sons" and "dav" on the backmark. It is constructed like the Eagle buttons that I have found and seems at least as old. Any help will be appreciated.

    Civil War Button

Been a while since I've got to go out detecting but got to go today to a little Union picket post that we found last winter. We have gotten numerous dropped bullets and a few general service eagle buttons but this is the first cavalry button that we have found. Sure was nice to get out again...

    Slim Pickens

Got out for a couple hours this morning before the heat got unbearable and managed to save a few bullets. Did find one Confederate Enfield and an unidentified bullet(the short fat one-may be shot and has 3 rings). The three ringer looks as if it was dropped last year. Also found a 5c Oklahoma...
