    Finally coming together LOL

On my trip to colchester this fall I finally got a gold coin ! It's been a long time coming. The coin is a 1672-84 Charles II milled gold half guinea and it was about 7-8" down. It read 68 in a Slightly tweaked program 1 at zero GB and running 7.1 software. The D2 is a monster machine and worthy...

    Last couple of hunts D2

I got out on Sunday to a cellar hole and hit a gorgeous Liberty Cap 1794. Really nice one. I also hit a beat up CT Copper along with the normal junk. Then on Tuesday after work I hit a field that I’ve been waiting for 2 years to get back on again. Timing. Did real well there with Shoe and Knee...

    The find that I wanted

26 years ago after my first hunt. I bought a Red Book. I looked through it and saw coins that I didn’t know existed. Was amazed by them and wanted them all. I really liked the “odd” things like 1/2 cent, 1/2 dime, two cent but the coin I wanted most of all was the three cent silver. I have...

I would agree to a copper a day

I would agree to a copper a day being a good day. Yesterday was exceptional. Four coppers 2KGII, KGIII and a Drape Bust. A bunch of colonial buttons, musket balls and a Flying Eagle cent. 2 1/2 hours on a corn field with a friend. 2 D2s and a sunny after work hunt. It just doesn’t get much...

    Problems with Deus II

First off I had been hoping for at least one more version of the backpack to come out. Secondly I don't think that most people understand that this new machine is going to show up with new software in it! The Horror, not new software!! Do we trust it can we revert back to 2.2 or some other...

    Nice find and different

I like different. I hit the Dog Headed Whistle today at a cellar hole. It’s marked Sterling so it’s after 1860. Got a holed copper green disc of nothingness and a key fob also. Skeeters 🦟 we’re tough but the digging was good. Running my Deep Coppers Program. Get out there.

    By request (again)

How not to be a "Dick" on the digger pages and forums. When someone posts their find of the day. Give them the thumbs up or like or comment. It doesn't matter what the find is. If you like it and the person is your friend or not, say something. Don't comment that you have one too or yours is...

Moved into the woods for some green

The day started very slow the first two sites were a bust but three’s the charm. I think a 1736 Farthing a KGII and half a clock key I think. I needed the walk.

Back out to the same field tonight

Got out to the eagle field this afternoon with Gary and the field lived up to it’s name with Gary finding a matching double Eagle to the one I got here the first time I was in this place. Today’s best a Connecticut Copper, two LCs lots of buttons and a Barber dime. Oh I found the harmonica so...
