Deus 2 Screen frozen during update

I did a search and couldn't find what I was looking for.....I was updating my Deus2 remote and now the screen is frozen with the word update on it and I can't turn it off or use any buttons. It is not the dive lock feature, it is frozen during update. I have tried redo and also restarting of...

    First Hunt/Finds with DEUS II

Was finally able to take the new Deus2 out for a real short hunt....got in about hour and a half. I have a lot to learn. The two small dark pieces are brass. The one on the right appears to be a very small piece of a horse brush.

Any Nox users also use Safari?

Has anyone in the group gone from ML Safari to the ML Nox 800? Was just curious about a comparison since the Safari is FBS.

    11 x35 or 9" HF

First of all, I am a relic hunter and running a DEUS with 9x35 LF coil. I am considering adding a second coil and wondering what folks recommend....the 9" HF or the 11x35 LF? I was thinking the 11" for more ground coverage.

    Converting ORX to Deus?

I don't know if this has been asked before or if it is just a stupid question; I have an ORX, if I were to purchase a replacement DEUS controller, would that make my detector able to work as a deus?

    ORX for Civil War Relics?

I've never used an XP detector as I run an Equinox and an AT Pro. I am interested in getting something a little lighter than the NOX. Does anyone use the ORX for relic hunting in an iron rich county? Our ground is mineralized and the grass is pretty tall as well. The ORX seems a bit more in...

    A Little Bit of Canvas

Went out for a few hours this afternoon. Found a grommet and after cleaning noticed there was still some canvas in it. The Eagle button has been pushed, but I can see a faint "C" with a magnifying glass.

    After the Rain

Rain finally slowed down to a drizzle here about 11 am and hit the permission field. I think the bullet on bottom left may be a fired Williams cleaner.

A Big Old "I Don't Know" In The Hole

I went out to the camp I have been hunting and came across this big ol' I don't know. It is 1.72 inches tall and almost an inch at its widest. My reloading scale couldn't weigh it. Sure sounded pretty on my Equinox!!

Decent Eagle I Button For This area

Spent the day enjoying the sunshine and saving relics. Found an Eagle "I" button and it cleaned up halfway decent. The ground here is usually pretty hard on buttons. The first picture is the button in the field.

So does the 15 inch coil perform go enough deeper to warrant the $239 cost?
