    Button ID

Today while detecting with my deus 2 I found a small metal button. I know very little about old buttons. I have been detecting for quite a few years but a button like this has eluded me. Can anyone possibly id it and maybe a date it was made. The dime is just for size comparison. Thanks.

    Fisher 1235x

Does anyone know the years the 1235x was produced? I have had one several years and was wondering when they were made. Thanks.

    Hardee’s coin

While detecting at a local elementary school with my deus2 I found this Hardee’s fun machine coin. I had never heard of this coin before. Has anyone found this coin before? I did a little research on it and found it interesting. Thanks for looking.

    First hunt

Today was the first hunt with my deus ll. I was at our local high school where I had hunted many times over the years. I found two one dollar coins one of John Tyler and the other of James Garfield which I was unaware they were even minted. I found some copper and clad pennies a few of them...

    Whatsit

While detecting around an old school with my SE pro I found this. Not sure if it is brass I have no idea what it is. It’s larger than a silver dollar. Any help identifying it would be appreciated.

    Silver kinda day :clapping::minelab:

After about a 3 year hiatus from detecting I got out and dusted off my explorer se pro and with my father in law we went hunting at an old drive in where I had found silver before. I was able to get a 1944 mercury dime and a 1954 Roosevelt dime. It sure felt good swinging again and I reread Andy...

First Silver with SE Pro :minelab:

Today I hunted for about 45 minutes at a house dated in the late 1700's. I used my Minelab SE Pro, which I have had about two years and have not really hunted a lot with it. The front yard was covered in iron, and remembering what Bryce had said and hunting in Iron Mask with his settings I crept...

Is there a site where a person can check the serial number and find it's date of manufacture? Thanks and Merry Christmas to all!!!!!

First silver with my SE pro

I have not hunted a great deal since I got my SE and today I went out to a play ground for a couple of hours. I used Bryce's settings in IM and this ring just sang out amongst some iron. It has .925 stamped on inside the ring. I just wish it was a diamond in there but I am almost sure it isn't...

    Headphones

My "killerbees" headphones just bit the dust and I was wondering what would you recommend I use on my Explorer SE. I was satisfied with my killerbees.

Thoughts from a new SE user.....

I have at least till now found that in the high trashy (iron) areas I hunt, I prefer IM at 29 in the ferrous settings. To me I rather hear the low sounds than the threshold nulling all the time. When I get a high tone with those settings I switch to Conduct and listen as well to see if it has...

    Explorer gets an IH

I found this 1900 IH at a house I had searched once before. I have had my SE less than a week and I took it here. I searched for about an hour total today. I heard a high tone and it told me to dig, I don't remember exactly where it was in smartfind as there was iron close to it and would null...

New Explorer SE user question :minelab:

I have had mine less than a week and have hunted and tested with it a few times. The places I search in seem to have a lot of iron or minerals in the ground as I get a lot of null in the threshold tone as I sweep the coil. I know there is a lot of iron in the ground as other machines I have had...

First time out with the Explorer SE

I just bought a Explorer Se and took it out yesterday. I took it to my front yard where I had hunted it with three other detector brands heavily. The yard has a lot of iron and I found I had to go real slow with the SE. I heard a "high" pitch sound and then wiggled it over the area. I could only...

    Explorers at the Beach

I am curious as to how the explorers do at the beaches on the East Coast. Any experiences using them will be appreciated.

    First silver with 1235X

It is a 1964 D.I found several other clads pennies, nickel's and a 1/2 dollar.I was using my Fisher 1235X and the quarter was the first silver I have found with it.There was a lot...

    CZ7a Pro finds

Today I went hunting :detecting: with my brother. We went to a site that has never let us down, it always gave up an old coin. I found 2 silvers, a 43 war nickel, a 43 Mercury, and 2 wheats 52 D. Was a great day. The coins were from 6 to 10 inches deep. My fisher done well. [attachment...
