    Want to ask a question

I see a lot of guys give up they’re settings and I rarely see anyone run the reactivity past 6.. I run my reactivity at 9 or 10 always, and I step into hunted out place all the time and pull coins left and right . I have no doubt if I ran the reactivity at 5 or 6 I’d get skunked alot at these...

    Little bling

Went out today for an hour in the park, took out the mxt . I’m not a whites guy, but I love the feel and quality build of these machines..So I made an executive decision to learn this machine and its capabilities. My only gold for the year and although I hope for more it’s doubtful. Thanks for...

    Sometimes I wonder

Why I use anything else. Why anyone uses anything other than a etrac for coin shooting…. Two hours in the park with the AT Max aday ago.. Granted, I was hoping for gold but I’ve since decided to leave that to the proffesionalls… Tonight, 20 minutes in the same park, same area with the etrac and...

    How many Cortes users here?

I rarely see a post on these machines, good, bad or anything. I picked one up and use it here and there but it’s almost like cheating, not a true beep n dig..I’m old school when it comes to Tesoro, the sounds, lifting the coil to judge depth,etc..Having a visual ID Tesoro just seems odd to me...

    Minelab

    Little brainless fun today

Gotta love Tesoro, simplicity at its best. I did end up with a war nickel, few Pennie’s and about 50 pulltabe not shown. I was looking for gold, and was pretty much digging it all .Put the clean sweep on thinking I’d dig all shallow targets, but that thing was getting pulltabs at 5 to 6 inches...

    My favorite things to find

Religious medallions Have always been my favorite thing to find. Hope one is gold someday but for now I’ll take these ones that are sterling..Few nickels, one of those kids play coins, second one I found this year and they always make me think I found a half dime or trime..The medallion was...

    Little bling tonight

I almost sold this machine, xterra pro. For no other reason than I felt like a hoarder. No one bought it,so I took it down, and honestly I’m glad cause it’s very productive, fun, light and just enough features in the areas that actually matter to me…Hit my old churchyard across the street ,I’ve been...

Clad half,boy-scout thingamagig, merc dime, some clad and a knockout I was hoping would be a silver medallion but I knew better when I found it..I guess it’s just as much fun and anticipation hoping something’s good and waiting for failure at home..lol..

    Video on recovery speed

First,I suck at anything computer related so I took a screenshot of the video so anyone can look it up…last night I was watching a video from Paystreak on the legend and recovery speed.. He said he runs it at 10 recovery speed, I’ve never ran past 6..Big eye opener, today I took the legend to a...

    Ya know that feeling

When you see a silver edge in the plug, and not just that,,but when I pull it out I see a bunch of stars surrounding a eagle.. Thought I found one of our founding fathers coin spills. Had no clue what I had but man I thought it was important. Some kinda token, probably one of those kids game pieces..

Took the legend out, wasn’t expecting much parks been beat up by me, being a block away. Had the volume off on targets 45 and down ,got a weak hump high tone.. thought junk, but was glad to see the bracelet. Marked sterling,,20 grams,,it’s a chunky little thing..Thank you Jane

Thought I had a bucket lister

Never found a Trime, and still haven’t. Hit up a old park I’ve been hitting forever, found some early 1800s large cents there and a lot of silver over the years, so when I flipped the plug and saw the star I thought trime..Not today, some kinda kids play money, rang up about a 50 tho on the legend.

    Thanks Elmy

For the 110 program. The wheat pennies were every bit of 10 inches deep and that’s no lie ,they were deep..Merc was about 7 to 8 inches, same as the buffalo …I had given up on this park years ago, it stopped producing anything coin related . And I had a etrac back then too…I attribute these finds...
