    Tesoro epsilon coil knowledge…help!

My 2019 compadre coil is failed. Has been for a while. Shorted internally. I have another coil for it. It’s older. The transmit and receive wiring are different colors. Is there anyone out there who can give a way to tell which is which? Resistance perhaps? Or maybe someone knows what the...

A kepi with a strand of thread left?

Rode my sons bike to the end of the road and ditched it in the woods. Walked around with the DEUS for and hour and a half working an old road bed. Didn’t dig anything. Got back to the bike and hit this. I think it’s a kepi buckle...and it has a hefty blue thread still tangled on it!!! One image...

    Epic week in the heartland...bucketlisters

Took my partner, the DEUS and the Nox back to Iowa for a week. Conditions were perfect weather wise but were thick and some fields still in corn stalks and high grass. So not perfect but not bad. These are pics of what made it into the keeper pile. Notice the dragoon 1830s eagle buttons...

Another brass piece. Not sure what.

Found this around a bunch of dropped bullets. It’s definitely of interest. One end is hollow with a tapered hole, like inverted cone. No threads or anything. The other end is solid and flat with small holes through it around the perimeter. It’s a lathe made piece of brass from what I can tell...

My neighbor is an awesome fella

I got a permission from an older gentleman at the end of my street. It couldn’t have come at a better time as I’ve just been kinda discouraged at my lack of legitimate spots. Plus he and his wife are amazing people and I’ve had a lot of fun just being around them. He’s got a few acres and an old...

    Had a great morning!

    New 600 on some lead.

Tell me some preferred settings for this hunting. I was using park 1 and field 1. Recovery on 2. 24 sensitivity. 2 tone or 50 tone. Had great depth, but like other detectors, it likes to call the deep bullets with a little iron tone. So I just dig everything deep out there. Usually works out...

    Breaking in this new NoX.

Getting some lead out with this brand new Nox. Digging a lot of deep mixed iron targets turn out to be bullets.

    Equinox 600 urban relic hunt

The flat button ended up being an 1813 Swiss 1/2 bazen.

Equinox 600 provides my oldest coin

Got out with my 2nd equinox 600 for the first time after selling off my last one. Hit a spot where my partner got a 1816 8 Reales and got this little crispin. Solid 18 amongst moderate heavy iron. Only a few feet from the plug of the Reale. Been over it and missed a few times with DEUS and...

    Some kind of plug

It’s either zinc or pewter. Has a leather seal at the bottom. Handle appears to have been beaten on pretty good. Found with some early flat buttons, an 8 Reale , and some other old bits.

What a sweet little patch we found!!

    A unique button....

Pulled this with the DEUS today. Anyone familiar with that design? The only back mark I see is a “B”. The shape of the solder patch for the shank appears to be good and old design.

My first silver with the DEUS

Random site choice= Pistol 6 pack

I randomly chose a low lying patch of woods in the inner city. Not promising by any means other that it’s close to the cities’ intermediate line of works. It’s surrounded by modern modern modern. I cracked into this spot with the simplex and sp24 expecting nothing. It looked as if cans would be...

    Aftermarket coils...

Can someone shed further light on the situation with NEL coils? Anyone care to comment in the price of the Detech 13” coil? And who else is gonna produce a small coil for this machine? Dilek, could y’all just consider wiring up coils in the little 7x4 housing or the 5” round? You have such an...

    Rescued more lead this morning

Another average hunt this morning. Working a mid-century small dump on a wood line near some big ol powerlines again. G2 and sharpshooter get the cred.
