Xp MI-6 pinpointer rubber tip protector

Makes sense. As someone else said I don’t use mine as a digging tool lol so hard for me to imagine wearing a hole through it especially as i have really sandy soil Wasn’t sure if it was for other purposes as well

New D2 Update? But its too hot pan the east coast to detect

Didn’t even know there was another update. Been too hot with 100+ degrees for 4 months straight and still no relief yet. At this rate maybe hopefully by December it will get to a comfortable 80 degrees. How is the new update, any issues, and is it worth it if not planning to use the extreme hunter?

Are either of XP's backpacks any good?

I have the 240 and it’s plenty good to store and carry around. I believe the 280 is more if you plan to travel by plane and need to check in or pack your lunch and dinner as well

Like everything else, “politics” nothing makes sense at that point

Used Deus 1 vs Minelab Xterra Pro for Beach detecting

Are you in the East or West coast?

Used Deus 1 vs Minelab Xterra Pro for Beach detecting

Depends if she wants to use it in the water. Neither one is great at being “waterproof “ At least the Xterra pro is proven so far to be water tight If you are exclusively doing beach hunting i would recommend a waterproof detector as you never know if you decide to use it in or near the water...

    Antenna set up

I have a carbon fiber lower that has a hole in it to run the wire inside the rod I have read others saying they figured out a way to run it inside which is always best

    Reality of detecting today

I totally agree, my point was mot concerning depth rather being able to “see” it vs not a target at the same depth changing the frequency especially in mild soil I don’t suppose is suddenly going to change the depth by inches on a coin but depending on the composition and other variables...

    WSA2-XL Question

You literally have to press - then + for one feature and + then - for another. What can go wrong.

Looking for Carbon fiber covers for backphone puck D2

Curious as to the advantages of changing the headphone covers to carbon fiber. Are they noticeably lighter on your head.

    Reality of detecting today

I think this is one reason why they came out with multi frequency. Instead of trying to figure out which frequency is best for a particular target in a particular area and potentially missing others why not let the machine run both high and low frequencies simultaneously and seeing more of...

    Deus 2 water proof headphones

Don’t like anything in my ears personally so bone conduction would be my preference

    Deus 2 Arriving today

Its like being used to Mac or PC then switching over. Once your used to how it’s set up and works it’s actually easier than originally thought. Just like anything else if you don’t use it regularly it tends to be harder and you forget things as well. Haven’t used mine in months now due to...

XP Deus distributor has sold out and have informed us they won't be needing this forum any longer.

I assumed it was XP not the distributor that had this forum sponsored. But not needing the forum and shutting it down doesn’t make any sense. I also assumed it was the users that had the forum open. I always see users say for example” isn’t it time for a “x” forum” when a certain brand and...

    Underwater antenna

Just a idea, would get something like a detect-ed carbon lower shaft where you can run the antenna inside the shaft to keep it secure. The carbon fiber will also keep it stiffer swinging it under water
