    FBS Lower Rods

Just curious, I don't have and old E Trac lower rod laying around, just a thought, the shaft on the Pro looks like the same shape of tubing. Has anyone tried this yet? Cheap way to get lower shafts if it does work.

    Only On Amazon.... X-Terra VOYAGER

Well, Minelab has finally hit the cheap seats, kinda like Garrett and the Ace 150. https://www.minelab.com/usa/metal-detectors/x-terra-voyager https://www.amazon.com/All-Terrain-Pinpointing-Detector-Waterproof-Headphones/dp/B0CKDJM27X

One advantage of the Pro is that our forum has been active again, live and well! For the price of the Pro, it's been worth it to activate old friendships and gather us back again. I visit here daily now!!!!!

    Coil Ears

I have already seen people putting the ear protectors on their VX coil. The 1st thing I noticed when I un-boxed mine was the thicker coil ears and that the coil bolt screws into the ear on the other side of the coil. The 1st generation X-Terra had some problems with this, I repaired a couple...

    X-Terra Pro Digs Again

Out yesterday to a camp we have hunted for over 10 years. These .69s were 10" deep, 20 feet apart. The pro seems to have the same deep language as the 70/705 as far as depth goes.

    Pro Out In The Field

    5x10 Coiltek Coil Test

I think the Pro will be a hot detector with smaller coils in iron. I did a nail test with a pistol bullet and a cuff button and it passed with flying colors! I think the Nox 6" coil would do even better!! We have had 6" of rain in the last 24 hours here, hope it's not too soggy to get out this...

    Headphones For The X-Terra Pro

I'm a little old school and cant stand the wireless phones after having tried them with the Nox that I tried, I'm going with the Grey Ghost and the Rattlers since they come with the correct plugin. The ML wireless M85 still look like they will slip off my big noggin! LOL Besides, one one has...

Ist Take on the X-Terra Pro

It's raining here, so I tested it out in my garage. Concrete, no rebar in the floor. Setup, easy. I hunt relics so mine is simple. 2 tones, tracking on, recovery speed 2, I like to hear the iron, so FE volume is set just a hair below regular volume. Set the tone break at 0 to try it out 1st when...

    New X-Terra Pro Features

Looks like a bunch of coil choices also! Still not on the Minelab site. Nothing mentioned in the specs yet on ground balance or tracking option. https://www.detectorprospector.com/metal-detector-database/minelab-x-terra-pro-r159/

    Coils For The G2

What aftermarket coils work for the G2? Thinking about the CORS Scout or the 11x12 Superfly. Anyone running these? Are they any better than the 11 inch Biaxial?

Back To An Old Friend, G2

Well, had the chance to pickup a 1st generation G2. Got to admit, one of the best iron trash site detectors ever! Found a lot of brass and lead with one 10 years ago.

Anyone Still Using The 70 or 705?

I have 2 70's and a 705. Have just bought the Nox 800 and have hard time weening off of the X-Terra. They have been real good to me since the beginning. Some have touted the Nox 800 is a replacement for the X-Terra, I see no compare to the X-Terras at this point. Keep in mind that I'm a strict...

    Another One For The Collection

Found another 70 locally for $200 with the HF 10.5DD to add to my herd, I'll have one for each different coil that I have for them. I'll sell the coil to one of my buds and be in it on the cheap! I bought the Nox and I'm just not sold on it yet for the relic hunting that I do.

    Vista Warrior Tips

Just got one and would like some tips on hunting old house sites and CW campsites loaded with nails. Have had the RG 1000 and Gold in the past and they were pretty good at sniffing out buttons in heavy iron. So, is it wise to investigate a high tone peep going one way? What's the best...

    Old Bounty Hunter 1

I have the 1st detector I ever owned, problem is, it doesn't work anymore. It's the old BFO, 1 tone type. Does anyone even work on a detector this old? Would love to get it going again. Also have my second detector, a Bounty Hunter Red Barron from 1976, same thing, needs work.
