A few questions about all Sovereigns. . . .:starwars:

Hello fellas and gals.

Has anyone used the Elite, and the GT side by side? I am wondering if there is any other interferance that may happen other than the cross-talk.

I dug another Merc dime on Friday, along with 9 Wheaties, and my 1st square nail.

I think I found a good spot.

A few posts down, there was a question about the Coinsearch coil, and how good they are. What kind of coil is it? DD or concentric?

I know I had another question, but I am goin blank right now. . .<sigh>

The Coin search was the coil used on the original and the Sovereign XS and was a double D coil, but was not waterproof. In the XS2 Minelab used the BBS 8 and the BBS 10 which were waterproof. The coin search was a coil many of us love and still have one in our selection of coils as it seem to have a better tone, or a longer tones on targets and easier to learn the Sovereign. These are still being sold use on the classified as you will see once in a while. I have dug some of the deeper coins with the 8 inch coil and as I said in another post that we did a side by side comparison with the BBS 10 inch coil and the 8 inch coin search seem to get a better signal on it. Now on the new 10 inch Tornado coil used on the GT and the Elites seem to have about the same depth as the coin search in my opinion.
If you are using the Elite and the GT close to one another they can crosstalk and this is where that freq switch comes in handy, so one has to switch freq. I find freq 2 works the best and use freq 1 when you get any interference.
