Doesn't look like it had a eagle or anything else on it. Thought maybe it was C.W. era.

Says "Criterion Belts" on the tab. Haven't found anything on that name yet.

Dunno, Dave, the stamped name on the back looks modern, but your buckle looks much older than this... <img src="/metal/html/shrug.gif" border=0 width=37 height=15 alt=":shrug">
"We're trying to show that Filipino brands can actually compete with these," said Miriam S. Valero, assistant vice-president for marketing of the Clothing Criterion Corp., which specializes in men's clothing...."
"...Before opening the boutiques, Criterion focused on polos and pants. Now it has expanded to include ties, handkerchiefs, jackets, belts, wallets."
Business World Publishing Corporation 1996. (full link below)

...I'm not convinced that that is your Criterion Belt Company. Your buckle sure looks a lot older, but in all the whole WWW it was the only link I could find.
Hope it helped. Don't be a stranger now, hear? <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">
