predicted excerpt 10 years into the future from an exclusive interview with Charles in leading business review magazines on being one of Americas top 50 wealthiest and most successful industrialists .Same interview eventually makes it's way into most metal detecting magazines of the time.
Very well done Charles(I hope this comment gets me a prototype of a striped down stock coil case that you might be thinking of making......maybe

And then track them all over the rest of the house. Is all the programming done through the PC? Is there a conversational mode or do you have to make a G-code file for every part?

LOL on the chips through the house thing. I purchased a CAD/CAM product called OneCNC for more than the darn mill cost and it does 3d solid modeling not that you always need that but I think I'll be able to mill just about anything I can think up. Its super for drafting coils, takes a fraction of the time it used to take me drafting them by hand.
Another program I bought called Mach2 Mill runs the gcode program and controls the mill. Still a bunch of reading up to do on this.
I'm going to work on a mill break in program tomorrow that just moves the 3 axis around for a few hours to loosen things up.
I ordered up a bunch of tooling and some coolant from Enco yesterday. This are moving along.

Yeah first mod an explorer, then build some coils, then buy a freaking cnc milling machine, I'm detecting a pattern here, who knows whats next.
