Finally, first gold for 2014

Was really beginning to wonder if we would ever find the first 2014 gold. We have a friendly contest to see who can find the first goods of each year. First ring, first silver, first wheat, oldest coin, first gold etc. Normally by now one of us have found that first shiny stuff. Yesterday I went out to break that gold streak. Took the AT Pro and put on the 8x5 and headed to my favorite tot lot. At the bottom of a slide right next to the grunt of a piece of iron I heard the peep of a mid-tone. Pulled out the first shinny stuff for 2014 a 10k cross.
