FROM PORTUGAL 5"x10" dd ellipitical coil

hello everyone, I live in Portugal and bought a xterra705 with 5 "x10" DD coil ellipitical
I'd like to know your opinion on this coil, how deep for coins and relics

Good coil to use in trashy areas with good seperation on targets. I found coins 8 inches deep with this coil. Has good sensitivity to gold.

these coil is good for that soil?

Miguel,

It's the only Xterra coil I use. Gets good depth, great separation, and covers more ground than the stock coil.

You will be fine. Just go slow. Your English is better then Portuguese. LOL

That coil will pick up TINY bits of metal its super sensitive and works well in trash with great separation. You should be good on depth to 8" and maybe deeper.

Thank you all, so to say that with this coil I have no problems, has good depth and sensitivity, I hope not be disappointed.

The AT Pro I'm looking at does have a DD. I spend a couple weeks at the beach every year, but most of my time in western PA. I don't go running around any gold fields. Would this "gold" package work better than the standard 705?

Hello hus4154, I am from Western PA and I run both coils the 5X10 DD and concentric 9 inch on the X-Terra 70. I like using 5X10 in trashy areas for the easy separation of targets and use the concentric for less trashy areas. I have found coins with 5X10 that were in the same hole with nails and steel wire. I cannot say that about with the concentric. So if I were going to buy a new X-Terra 705 I would go with with gold package X-Terra 705.
