Here's a simple quick solution to a camera flash that's too bright even at 1/64 setting.
It really helps when taking pictures of jewelry where you don't want the flash showing up in the piece.
And works pretty well taking pictures of a necklace being worn by a person.
Just take a piece of that very thin foam you find being used as protection material.
Wrap it around the flash, secure it with a rubberband.
Something so simple.......it works.
