Tesoro Tejon spare battery holders available

I found some replacement battery holders for Tesoro Tejon metal detectors. They were only $4.95/each (with Free Shipping) x 2 for a set + my local state tax = $10.62 total for the set.

I found them by doing a Google search for "4x AA battery holder" - then scrolling through the Images for the 1000's of search results until I saw the needed Cube-type holders. I mention the search term method in case the model I bought are no longer available in the future.

Quicker search - search for: Velleman BH343B Battery Holder

My supplier ended up being Walmart's site. I ordered the 2 pieces, with Free Shipping, from their site. As the attached paperwork shows, the order was fulfilled by Alltronics LLC, California.

The pieces arrived and I can confirm that they are the same length and width of my OEM holders - and fit inside my battery compartment correctly, and work with no problems.

They are the 2 pieces on the right, loaded with the green rechargeable Duracell batteries.

Hope this info is helpful!

Awesome
I just picked up a new Tejon today
At Serious Detecting.com
I was looking for any 12 khz Tesoros.

Is there a problem with the battery holders ?
Are there any other issues with the machine itself?
I know nothing of the Tejon.
The 180ED discrimination sold me.
And the dual modes.

On my excitement finding anything new Tesoro.
I jumped on it.
Sadly
I didn't CK the coil family.
My other Tesoro is Epsilon family.
Picked up most every coil for that machine over the years.

Is there any way or an adapter to run Epsilon coils on a Delta machine ?
I hate to try and find more coils.

Battery Holders: The original Tejon battery holders seem to be very solid and well made. I do not expect any problems with my original Tesoro set, but wanted a 2nd set as a backup.

Delta Coils for Tejons: Yes, our Tejons use the 4-pin Delta coils (as do the Vaquero, Cibola and Lobo SuperTraq machines). I have not read of any Epsilon to Delta converters, but believe the operating frequencies for the coils are different.
