Waterproofing a compadre

Looking to waterproof my compadre. Just curious what waterproof case and seals I should use for the coil connector and headphones. Also, what i have to do to make waterproof headphones work for it

Most just use a quality enclosure like an Otter Box and sealable marine clam ports...and epoxy.
Never seen a lot of mods with headphones but there are a couple, regular headphones can work but if you want to use actual waterproof types I assume you would need to adapt the plug to fit.

There are several vids on YouTube about doing this conversion, plenty of threads on most forums and here if you search.
Just Google "Waterproof Compadre" and you might be surprised at what comes up.

Here are a couple of set ups...

If I did one I would probably enjoy chest mounting the electronics and changing to a straight shaft to mount the coil for better maneuverability in the water.

Someone once put a Tesoro inside a headset, can't remember what model it was but it's something you may want to consider.

Good luck,
Paul
