The weather here was too nice not to. I am LOVING the 6" coil, it really separates things under it. I didn't find anything overly special, but the interesting thing is I have GRIDDED 10'X10' this area before with the SE Pro and didn't find much, just a TON of small bits of iron, all of a sudden I am pulling things like the oil lamp parts out of the ground at 6" where I know I have hunted before. It didn't give a strong signal, just a chirp between the low iron grunts but you could tell there was something there. Also a multitude of .45 empty shell cases and some other non ferrous stuff from the previously gridded area. The down side is it takes a LONG time to cover ground with it, I was hunting most of the day and covered 600 square feet, a 10' X 60' area that was once part of a fence line. Check out that chain I went right over before, it actually rang up as non ferrous, I am assuming because of its size, if anyone has any idea what type of chain it is please let me know, it is odd with those large rings in it, it is probably 2 1/2 feet long. The oil lamp parts have a pat date of Aug 4 93 on them, and the cross pin is copper, probably plated at one time, and all the fake jewels are missing, I don't think it is very old due to the way it was press cut out of a sheet. The dingus with the gears appears to be an old clock movement with springs for the time, and for an alarm dinger.

Yes, in remotely clean ground it is incredibly stable.
