Anything over 40 and I can usually count on a coin. 40~45; Penny; 45~48 Dime; over that usually Silver. Gold and Nickel usually much lower. 26 and solid is ALways Nickel and Gold can be from the teens to low 30's. I.E. DIG ALL GOOD SOUNDING TARGETS THAT ARE A SOLID SOUND. You'll amass a great collection on pulltabs and "can Slaw", but that's where the Gold lives.

I find 42-43 are zinc, 44-46 copper penny or 46-47 dimes (clad or silver) 50-51 quarters and 25-27 nickels. That covers the parameters that I’ve experienced.

Be mindful that Cents & Nickels can be a good bit lower if corroded or deep. I have dug lots of them with the Legend in bad shape from 100+ years in boggy ground. Cents down to 36 & Nickels down to 20.
Silver can drop a little too, but not as much.

I ordered the Pro pack, so I should get the smaller coil also Yeah. What kind of depth are you getting with the smaller coil on the Legend ?

I haven't used my Legend but once, is it safe to say that the VDI on the Legend will be (on average) about half of what you would see on the simplex?
