    Small spill today!

I get giddy when it's a clad spill, gotta love it when there's silver involved.

    Great hunt today.....

Been watching the grandkids play soccer and i can almost hear the quarters hitting the ground. Silver is getting hard to come by only 11 so far, so i've decided i have to pay for the ibuprofin somehow.

    Great hunt today.....

Nice quarter haul. I hit a small park yesterday and ended up with 25 quarters. Putting my year to date total of 384. Only one dollar coin though. Gonna have to start branching out a little more though to keep pace. Good luck and stay out of my area, lol.

    Recent outing with the XTP..

It is a quarter magnet that's for sure. You can be gawkin off at the sunset and that high tone will slap you back into reality.

    Minelab Musketeer detector…

I had a couple years ago and while it was a deep silver finder, that high screeching tone killed my ears. Overall though i thought it was a solid performer.

    I am torn,,,, your thoughts?

I just don't have the patience for the 6". I start getting sloppy in my coverage which is my fault not the coils but i do wish there was a 9" round coil available.

Did I find a piece of cut silver?

A half reale is smaller than a dime and a 1 reale is a little bigger than a dime and thinner I believe. Nice find regardless.

Didn't feel like traveling due to gas prices so I stayed close to home. Glad I did!! I hit a mini-cache!

You're the first person that I know of that has benefited from high gas prices.😁. I bet you work that area a little more.

Well broke the Deus in with a big return wedding Ring!

That is great. It's harder to do that than one would think because most of the time people don't lose things where they thought they did. Glad it worked out.

First hunt for 2022. So glad to get out and hunt.

Nice. I like the car badge and always enjoy digging the unusual items like tokens, fobs and such.

Opening day, doing a little sniffing around

Dancer, do you set your GB to neutral? Or do you "tweak" it. I'm just west of you and am lucky to have great soil, so I would think I could get scary depth. I'm a fence sitter on the vista right now so just soaking up what info I can, thanks.

Deeptech Vista X - My Review

Nice review eman. Me being a longtime tejon user, the vista x looks right up my alley for what I want in a detector. I mostly hunt in nail/iron infested fields where a lot of current digital machines fail or are on the same level as older tech. I guess some things even the playing field. I've...
