Yep, it is indeed rainproof, a good plus for sure. I too think it is a over looked detector when guys are looking for a lower priced unit to purchase.

    NEL Sharp Coil

Talked about before, be more than happy to restate what I said . My first use was on an explorer. Worked terrific and Id'd perfectly and was deep. Was so impressed. I bought one for the f-44. Again the id was perfect and I believe the depth was/is better than the tear-drop that came on the...

Got a Question for all those old timers out there like me???

experience for sure, research a very close second... as far as the most expensive detector with all the bells and whistles, hmmmm. I would have put my O'le explorer II up against just about anything on todays market. It sure was a beast when u knew how to properly use it. Mark ( ohio )

Which NEL Coil works the best

I've used the sharpshooter with very good success on a minelab explorer and it's still on my fisher f44. I couldn't see why it would not perform equally well on garrett products. I think its worth a shot.. good luck. Mark ( ohio )

When the black box eagles II and sl 90.5 came out whites had switched to Hitachi processors. This info came directly from my buddy who was the whites distributor in...
