First hunt with the Simplex Ultra

Wow, almost a totally different machine. Stability is not an issue ,where as my simplex + could be erratic at times when running wide open. Ran sensitivity at 25-30 , field mode , iron audio off, with iron tone break at 7, recovery speed 3. Dug no large iron , and no small iron- good targets...

Simplex hits it big in carpet of nails

My buddy and I hit the same property in Carthage ,TN. We hit last month. But with the small sp-24 coil. Iron everywhere, but slower swing speed and turning at 90° to target helped us have a freaking banner day 14 total bullets with half being carved US belt plate missing 2 attachments on back...

Simplex + scores CW belt buckle

My buddy and I spent the afternoon Friday detecting my youngest son's home in Carthage ,TN. I hit a .69 caliber Minnie ball within a few minutes of arriving, and filled my finds pouch with clad. Richard, my business partner found his first civil war relic- a pristine ( and I do mean pristine )...

    Simplex+ is simply excellent

Received my simplex on Friday, got to hunt briefly with it on Saturday. This machine is so intuitive I haven't even picked up the manual yet. Headphones are good, easy to pair to the detector. The user interface is well thought out, except for the pinpoint button, almost turned off my detector...
