    Mojave on the bay

I was not crazy about the appearance of the last two they released and never actually tried either one. Seemed like a repackage. Besides the Vaquero, I also like the Eldorado which it replaced.

    Couldn’t do without…

I still have a Vaquero too with both small coils that were offered. I like that it runs very quiet around old house sites until it gets over something good… very light too with those little coils!!

    Advice on a hand held

A Tesoro Sand Shark is also an option although it will be used since the company no longer exists. It is a PI detector… waterproof to 200 feet and the shaft can shortened for diving.

    Great hunt today.....

This may be my last great hunt until football season starts back up. I don’t expect to do this good from now on until then, but I’ll pick up a few here and there hopefully. Sounds like you are doing pretty good up your way!👍

    Great hunt today.....

It was cloudy and drizzly this morning, but with temperatures up around 90 degrees approaching next week, I wanted to get another full day of detecting in. I decided to try a couple schools that I have been too and done well at this year and was quite surprised at the amount of quarters still...

Revisit to an old house site today....

Nothing wrong with the 900 Ted, if it’s there, you’ll find it. I’m only one more piece of silver ahead of you, but have found quite a bit of clad since the first of the year.

Revisit to an old house site today....

Another forum member let me use his 900 for a few months while he was recovering from surgery. What little I used it, I liked it, but not enough to get one.. I am perfectly happy with my 800. I did get an XTP a few months ago, and am very pleased with it…for the price, I think it is a great...

Revisit to an old house site today....

Yes… still using the 800. A friend was using the 600 with the 6” coil also and although he did not find any silver coins, he found quite a few coins in spite of the trash and high grass.

Revisit to an old house site today....

I decided to try a local demolition site that I have not been too since late last Spring due to overgrowth. It was rough detecting in the tall grass, but I used the small coil and actually did much better than I thought I would. If I can get back in there just as they are starting to clear the...
