This is too cool. A forum just for the T2 was a great idea. Thanks you.

This is a good machine. Its was designed as pro-level machine. The company that is making it has some really good people but their marketing has no experience in what they call the pro market. Remember that First Texas Products specialized primarily in the retail market and they do that very well and very sucessfully. But the pro-market is a different place than the retail market, and what we take for granted, they are having to learn.

The machine will live up to its expectations. It is a credible top end machine and I, for one, really like it. It has a wart or two like them all, but it does what its designed to do really well.

The company itself will be lagging behind for awhile until we are able to educate them. They will not know that a solid accessory coil cover is needed unless we tell them. They will not know that we have to have weather covers for the meter and battery box because we hunt in all kinds of weather unless we tell them. They will not know that they need to provide all kinds of information for us to scruntinize in order to make a purchase decision. I know they will be regular readers of this forum and will be seeking to learn from it. Hopefully we can make it a place of learning not only the T2 but for the company that makes it to learn about us, the pro market, too. Who knows what the T3 might turn out to be because of what happens here.

I live about 80 miles from the plant and plan on visiting the folks in El Paso to let them know about the forums as well. It may or may not help the cause.

They also won't know that they really need to hire on a good P/R liaison team either.......if WE don't tell them !

Agreed, this was a cool idea. What we really need to do now is transfer some of the other posts here for future referrence purposes, and keep it all available in one location.

Thanks Gary and Bill. Much appreciated.
