Colonial farm permission fun!

This particular permission I thought could only be a pipe dream... until it wasn't. The landowner was impressed that I tracked him down and contacted him at his permanent residence in Hawaii for permission to hunt his Colonial-era farm property in Virginia. Not only did he give permission, but he told me where to search on the property. So grateful! Here are a few finds so far.

I love the counter stamped IH cent!!

Looks like you are off to a great start!!!
With all that history, hard to tell what else may be hiding there..
Good luck!!🤞🤞
There's a lot of potential for good finds for sure. There are two fields where the old Colonial home sat that are covered by knee-high grass. I've offered to mow it, but the property caretaker hasn't bitten yet. Might just have to wait for the grass to wilt in the winter. There's woods that were fields to be hunted for now.

Good job getting the permission, its the correct and right thing to do. Neat finds!!
