There's a lot of potential for good finds for sure. There are two fields where the old Colonial home sat that are covered by knee-high grass. I've offered to mow it, but the property caretaker hasn't bitten yet. Might just have to wait for the grass to wilt in the winter. There's woods that were fields to be hunted for now.Looks like you are off to a great start!!!

Patience and convincing, yet assuring tact helped, too. Somewhere along the way I learned how to mindful of the landowners and not make it so much about my access, but try to just pique their interest. Makes it fun, too.

No! I've asked, researched, etc., nothing! Not even speculation. One of the local historical clubs has meetings where they will help i.d. finds and I'll engage them next opportunity. It's definitely a strange one!
