Thanks for your interest! Steve's Detector Rods offers premium-quality carbon-fiber shafts for several of today's most popular metal detectors. In addition to "standard" shafts, customization is always available, and we continue to gradually expand our range of offerings -- including COLORED carbon-fiber shafts which are now available for all shaft styles that we produce!
Our offerings include:
**Equinox carbon-fiber rods and shafts** our complete shafts are available in "standard" two-piece configurations, along with three-piece options, custom lengths, etc. The shafts are available in standard "black" color, plus an assortment of colored options are available periodically as "limited edition" production runs. Our custom, proprietary detachable counterweights are also available to improve ergonomics (eliminating the nose-heavy feel of the machine), and we also offer "Herke" arm cuffs for our shafts. (See the picture below, of a few of the available color options).
**CTX 3030 lower rods** our CTX 3030 lower rods are available in standard 32" length, plus tall-man options, and two-piece travel rods can also be produced on a custom, special-order basis. The shafts are available in standard black color, as well as colored options during our "limited edition" production runs. (See the picture below, of a few of the available colors.)
**Garrett's AT- and ACE-series two-piece lower rods** our Garrett lower rods attach directly to your stock upper "S-shaft," and are available in both standard black, as well as colored options (see pictures below, of a few of the available colors).
**Excalibur and Sovereign shafts** are also now available, on a special-order custom basis.
Please note that while limited quantities of colored shafts are usually in stock (for all models), special orders are always welcome for any out-of-stock colors (which may require up to 4 to 6 weeks wait). Custom designs are also welcome -- again with up to 4 to 6 weeks wait possible, depending upon whether custom parts need to be ordered.
