On our second to last day today in Colchester and 4 of us hitting Celtic Gold coins. They were popping out like ring pulls.
CtTerry, NYJay, VtHenry and I all dug Celtic coins today. 3 Full Staters and a 1/4 Stater.
Big Fun day to remember for all of us. Good friends on vacation together. This hunt each March is a group of my friends.

Congrats to the four of you. I see one is a Pony, your take on the other 3 images?

The three full staters have styleized Ponys on them and the god Adonis on the reverse but you really have to be in tune to see him. They are all different types of Clacton types. The Pony on mine is the easiest to make out.

How far apart were they found . sube
Well if I use the middle coin as a point then I’ll say that they were 80 yards apart. Not a pile. Either they were never together as a group or spread apart by the plow over time. We think a campsite or small village due to what the site topography looks like.

I bet there is more there too. It nice to do days like as I bet you will always remember that day that you fond them.

Good finds

WoW. That is Absolutely Awesome.
What a grand time y'all had.
One of those days never to be forgotten.
I've never been over the big pond.
That's a Dream for any of us.

Now my wandering inquisitive mind asks.

Being England.
Did you have to turn them in or claim the finds ?

How were the pubs and eats ?
Hotels ?

And the way things are over there lately.
Run into any muslums/illegals ?
Any talk from locals about their country changing ?
