    I wanted to share my favorite finds and ask for opinions. These are made by the same metalsmith. One was found in Western Ukraine and the other along the same old road in Poland. Since this was a heavily traveled commerce road, I'm wondering if the men that wore these worked for a horse riding...

    I have NO CLUE

    Sorry, I posted this in the wrong place. This was found in Western Ukraine along the old trade route from Scandinavia through Ukraine to the Baltic Sea. So many cultures traded through here. It is 6" wide, very fragile, light metal. Any guesses on age or purpose?
