    Wrap around

I use a V3i and have learned a lot from it. I wish the ground balance were better. I would really like to see the Equinox updated to show what frequency was hitting the hardest like the V3i

7" Fisher F22 Coil on a Eurotek Pro

I have a Eurotek Pro with the 11" Biaxial DD coil and a 5" DD coil . I want to try a concentric on it. I can get a new 7" F22 Teardrop concentric coil for $50 plus $7 shipping. The stock Teknetics 8" concentric is around $100. Just wondering if anyones tried the 7" coil on the Greek series...

Anybody besides me get program happy?

It was Whites intention to have update capabilities on the Vision - V3 but Minelab owns the patent for updating metal detectors via data transfering devies by end users. That is why Minelab is suing XP Detectors because of thede use of usb updating by end users. See this link on Steve...

Ultimate 13" coil - my findings

I've used both on my V3i 13' Ultimate and MXT 10 x12 SEF. Both were as sensitive to small targets as the 10" D2. I preferred the 10 x 12 on my MXT.

    5.3 overload

I can run my 5.3 up to 15 with boost on and no overload. Sounds like the null on you coil has drifted.

    V3i purchase

I started in 1980 with a Coinmaster 6 DB, a fast swing GEB discriminator. Found enough silver in 1980 to pay for it. That was when the price jumped to $50 oz. The DD coil is easy to pinpoint with as long as there is only 1 target under it. I just center the target left to right then draw back...

    V3i purchase

You got a good deal on a great detector. I've had mine for 2 years and I'm just getting to understand the interactions between the functions. I have had an XLT since the late 90's an am fairly proficient with it. The V3i is a vast improvement. Good luck.

    V3 Ground Filter Talk.

Thanks Mike. Your message is better than the manual and more applicable than Carl Moreland's Advanced User Guide. I've always found the 5 Hz band pass get its best depth when swept slow. I haven't paid a lot of attention to the Spectrograph display as it relates to ground minerals. So the...

    Sensitivity Probe screen is missing

Happy Independence Day everyone. I went out yesterday and my sensitivity probe screen is missing when I zoom on the sensitively live control. Ground probe is still there. I read through the on board reference guide, Users manual and Advanced Users Guide and cannot find how to turn it back on...

    Robs Links

The internet archive has a snapshot of quite of few of the links. Check out: https://web.archive.org/web/20140801060627/http://www.findmall.com/read.php?66,1951992 I've found this website useful for a lot of older metal detecting websites that are no longer around. Alan
