    305 ground balance question

    The manual states if the tone is low increase it, if the tone is high decrease it, my question is to what? something in the middle, or a constant tone that does not change when moveing the coil up and down? my soil is neutral, so is the factory pre-set at 6, ok for neutral soil ? any help would...
