    Yes.....It throws off the "shrinkage factor" lol Seriously......I don't think frozen ground reads any differently than thawed dirt. Its just the retrieval that is harder. read it in Ground probe if you have any doubts.

    Never overlook the on-board help feature. Toggle forward from any location in menu and you have "Help". Also...Two keys to access an on-board reference manual. Menu/Zoom for immediate on-board answers to almost any question! Hold Menu/Tab button and push Zoom.

    The only problem with using the V3 manual spreadsheet for factory settings....is some of the parameters are different than the V3i......some setting ranges are expanded in the V3i......e.g. ...recovery delay in V3 manual is 60 for all factory programs.....and a lot higher in v3i manual...
