    Thanks for the advice. Been using historic aerial and maps around my local area. Also know quite a few places to hunt that are customers of mine, that may be excellent hunting grounds. Old schools and french Indian war sites.

    Getting a little anxious. I received my first metal detector a Whites VX3 for Christmas. Not able to get out because of the frozen ground and have been swinging in the basement. A couple good targets about 8" deep. Thinking of going to homed pot renting a jack hammer and see what I find...
