    Has anyone mounted the Explorer's control box on a carbon fiber telescopic shaft? The weight and convenience advantages of being telescopic would be obvious. I've seen some telescopic shafts on eBay, but they're for other Minelab models (and other brands).

    Don't sell it, they're highly sought after, and do you know why? Because the current series aren't as high-performance as the "old" FBS... And in fact, you see a lot of the current metal ones for sale. I myself bought a used Explorer II twenty years after my first EXII!

    I bought a 3.7v 18650 lithium battery holder on ebay, then 3 34B-PCB 18650 3400mah NCR18650B 3.7v lithium batteries and a specific charger on aliexpress that should arrive to me, do any of you use this type of lithium battery solution?

    the fact that Garrett acquired Whites was not good news for me, the historical enemy ate mother Whites. It was the end of a dream, they will never again produce the best metal detectors ever seen on the detecting scene.
