    WHY???

The look, the weight, the sound, the VDI all screaming gold. Here is the weight comparison. I agree with you about the lightness of stainless steel usually you can tell when you first pick it up, my bubble was definitely broken.

    WHY???

At beach this morning with the Deus2, a strong signal with a VDI of 49, a steady 49 from start to finish. On the 4th scoop I start to spread it out and see something shiny. I pick it up and just know its white gold, VDI 49, check, weight heavy, check, sound, awesome, check, I can see a hallmark...

    This is a First!!!

I use beach sensitive both on the dry and the wet sand with great results. In addition I use the 13 inch coil which has excellent coverage and I also include the WSA 2-XL headphones to complete the setup. The headphones are a must have to hear targets and eliminate wind, ocean and all other sounds.

    This is a First!!!

I run beach sensitive with a few tweaks on both wet and dry sand. I stay away from in the water and just hunt during low tides, I stay away from the water because of that annoying antenna which is my only complaint using the Deus 2.

    This is a First!!!

At the beach this morning, small cut and a good sounding 54 on the Deus 2, one scoop down, Bam a gold looking large ring, marked Colbalt, 10.3 grams with 24 diamonds. I have never seen or heard of a Colbalt ring, diffidently a first for me, anybody ever find one of these?

Always finding Foreign coins at the beach, here's my collection over the years. Some date back to the early and mid 1800's.

    WS6 no backlight

Ordered one on Amazon $9.99, I hang it around my neck and it lights up the puck, ground and what's in the scoop. No fiddling with a flashlight and no bugs in your face while wearing a headlamp, great call Listener, thanks for the advice.

    Why XP???

I have two separate setups using my Deus 2, one using the remote set up with the 11 inch coil and one set up with the puck using the 13 inch coil. The remote with 11 inch coil is my go to detector, but today I went with the puck with 13 inch coil. I am on the beach at 430am and found out that...

    What the Heck?

I saw that, I googled it after I posted. Four different versions, wow, I only saw pennies as, wheats, zincs and copper, this is definitely a first for me.

    What the Heck?

Today at the beach I found this penny, in my sixty eight years I have never seen a penny marked like this. Is this for real or some kind of a joke?

Six days detecting at four beaches

I would have posted more pics, but only would allow me to post ten. The large ring was 18k and 17.8 grams. The necklace was 14k and 18.9 grams. The Deus 2 is definitely a beast. Some more beach gold in the last few months. In addition to gold more silver rings, a titanium ring (a first)...

Six days detecting at four beaches

I have multiple detectors and one of my detectors is the Nokta Simplex, which is a good detector but I don't use it any more so I just removed the control box and purchased the XP mounting bracket and mounted the puck and 13" coil and now I have two Deus 2 setups, one primary and one backup...
