    At fort myres beach this week, looking for any tips on spots

    I got the family on vaca. Were staying on ft myres beach, right in the middle of the island. Going to sanibel and captiva tomorrow. I hit the light house beach yesterday with no luck. Really no luck at all yet at ft myres pier and beach where we are staying. Any tips on captiva where to hunt?

    GOLD JERRY, GOLD!!

    GOLD- 14k, first time out this year, same tot lot I found a heavy 14k gold chain last year. only this one was right by the swings. 1st ring also, well not counting my wifes aunt's ring I found in her grandmothers front yard.

    looking for advice on how to get started in underwater detecting

    So I called the local state park beach to ask about detcting there...

    Found this 14k gold chain in a tot lot that I have been to 3 times already this year, right under the little hanging monkey bars. found about 1$ in change acouple weeks ago there so I went back. it was still clasped so somebody must have been hanging upside down.

    Found a 2 Cent Piece!

    Found this 2 cent piece right before dark sunday night. It was on some state land where and old farm used to be, under some old apple trees. There was a lot of brush growing but I found a few bare spots to check. It topped of a pretty good weekend of finds.
