    Pretty much as a general rule all shoe buckles are pre 1790 when they went out of style and god forbid you wore last year’s style. But by the shape of this one heavy curve or arch I think it’s early 1700s Applied silver. Very nice grab

    The one on the left is a common flat button. 1810-40 the other is older 1700s both fun to find and better than crusty green discs of nothingness.
