    That sounds great. I used my DFX box cover on it and got out with it for the first time. It arrived just before Christmas and I had been itching to put the coil to the ground. Rain wasn't too bad and had a great time with it. Having had a DFX, it sure helps in understanding the V3i!

    Thanks you guys, I appreciate the info. With the backlight at 2, about how many hours are you running your V3 until the battery runs out? I plan on using the NiMH most of the time with the battery pack as back-up.

    I just got a V3i, moved up from a DFX. I was wondering with the screen looking pretty dark, does everyone use the backlight constantly on?
