    Its basically a kids parks. playground equipment, basketball courts, tennis courts, etc. Its right near a school and the kids just parade through it on their way home. Ive seen lots of bicycles laying on the ground. They do have an end of summer festival, so Im sure it was just some kids...

    Just check in at the rangers station. State parks my need permit. Some parks are real PIA about detecting. Just make sure you know the rules. Good Luck, State park beaches are usually great places to hunt because they are free or very cheap. They usually get big crowds especially on the...

    Lady Shadow Prototype?

    I recently came across a X2 but it only had a Tesoro 8' coil. I asked the guy where was the Shadow coil ?? He said that was the way he got it in TX at a hunt. Anyone ever hear of something like that ?? It was the coil that made the X2 such a great machine. HH Donna

    I remember hunting the HS omce before but way back when. I found a good amount of quarters back then, But beach detecting was easier digging and there was always gold to be found. Now that there's not much at the beach, its more fun digging at the HS. Only problem is too damm hot right now...

    In the recent past, I was walking over to a garbe can to get rid of my trash. Not more than 5 feet away, I found 3 kenny 1/2 dollars !!! Never in all my years did I ever find more than one. Like everything in life, Timing is everything !!!!
