    Fisher 1280X epoxy repair question

    while soldering a new battery connector I melted the housing where the battery compartment cap clamps and seals.     Squeaked out a first b4 the year ended....

    I had to lighten it a little. It should turn out to be a 1780's Machin's mills half penny. Soakin it in distilled H2O overnite.
